This shows the user interface of the backup script as it processes the backup jobs, if the user interface is configured to be visible. The presence of the log message widget, status message and the progress bar can be independantly configured. It is also possible to disable the Abort button to prevent an interactive user from stopping the backup process. See User Interface Settings.
Normally, the backup script will be run on a schedule, without presenting its user interface at all.
