Lifting the keyboard like this lets you reach in at the keyboard ribbon cable where it connects, near the front. Two small clips on either side of the connector need to be pushed out, towards the back of the EEE PC, to convince the connector to release. I'd recommend pushing these with something plastic to avoid damaging them, like a guitar pick.
